Jumbl

Being a person with dyslexia, I understand the challenges of navigating school and learning in a system that isn’t always designed for different ways of processing information. This personal experience inspired me to create Jumbl, a set of engaging resources aimed at helping parents recognise the early signs of dyslexia in their children.

Jumbl breaks down a complex and often intimidating topic into something approachable and playful. Through illustration and clever wordplay, the project makes learning about dyslexia less clinical and more inviting. Character design and a playful visual language simplify the subject, allowing parents to engage with confidence.

By combining these design choices, Jumbl invites parents and children to explore a space where they can learn together. Balancing fun with function was the key to making Jumbl not just another dyslexia resource, but a truly engaging tool for parents to understand dyslexia and support their children to thrive while learning.
