Starting my creative endeavour in 2022, I quickly became entranced with digital photography and the ability to channel my thoughts, feelings and imagination into a creative outcome. The ever-present urge to leave my comfort zone and challenge myself eventually hurtled me towards compositional photography and the endless possibilities that the technique holds. The outcome of this venture became: Tales Apart, an anthology series of images with the focus on building an original narrative within a single frame then polished off with a cinematic delivery. Through gaining inspiration from daily life and our natural world, combined and contrasted against fantasy elements, I have been able to create a collection of harmonious images that encapsulate other-worldly ideas. By implementing visual effects and compositional photography I am able to construct the images in multiple pieces, bringing to life my vision without any limits whilst simultaneously breaking the rules of traditional photography.
