My intention with my final project was to combine a variety of different media that I enjoy working with and wanted to improve on, including drawing, photography, sculpture, collage, typography, and writing, plus a couple of interests I have, such as storytelling, politics, mythology, art, and animation.
Essentially, what I've created at its core is a visual writer's guide for a satirical animated television series called “Who shot Mrs Icke?”, that follows the misadventures of a conspiracy theorist and his three cryptid companions trying to expose a legitimate conspiracy theory after years of spreading disinformation online, following the murder of his mother in a disastrously botched government raid.
I have presented the art and info in a way that matches the subject matter, hence why the final project looks like the mad ramblings of a conspiracist on a stereotypical murder board.
Following my time at Ara, I intend to continue creating, learning, and improving on the vast array of artistic techniques and skills I have learned in the last three years.
