Motion Design

William Guy

My final project has been a long-term passion of mine to build fictional industries and small scenes in stages of decay. The spirit of a factory in decline, covered in graffiti, half-finished repair jobs, and plants growing through the cracks has always been a great influence on my art. Signs of life sprouting through the industrialised world.

Out across the shoreline sprawls a series of intertwined industrial sites drawing minerals from the ground and forging them in fire for the consumption of Britain’s industries. But these sites are long past their prime, slipping into irrelevancy as buildings and equipment rot.

My aim is to produce a small documentary highlighting a small selection of my model work and world-building that I have created over the past few years. This is a work of passion that will leave me with an end product that I can show to friends, family, and strangers alike to quickly and succinctly explain my creative journey.
