Caitlin Blair

For my internship at Wild and White, I developed a collection brief that explored the idea of creating bridal suits while maintaining the brand’s main idea of the feminine aesthetic. I wanted to step away from the traditional expectation of bridalwear being exclusively dress-focused and instead present an alternative that felt both modern and empowering.

The collection was designed as a versatile range of garments that could be mixed and matched, allowing brides to create a look that best reflected their individuality. I challenged myself technically with tailored silhouettes, structured details, and masculine-inspired cuts, while ensuring the designs still carried the soft, romantic qualities associated with the Wild and White identity. This collection was deeply inspired by my connections to people who do not feel comfortable wearing dresses for their wedding day. My internship provided the opportunity to bring this vision to life, reimagining suits in a distinctly feminine way that broadened the definition of bridalwear.
