Kia ora, my name is Isaac Rushton,
I’m passionate about a variety of creative processes, which include photography, visual arts, creative coding, motion graphics, but my biggest passion is graphic design. For my final project, I’ve developed Defibs, a multi-media production company. Defibs prides itself on constructing events that influence a wider array of young people to support local music through a more financially beneficial means. In conceptualising this work, I wanted my project to disseminate experiences to promote inclusivity for a broad range of people, through the replication of a party atmosphere.
Defibs innovates through physical, commercial and musical spaces in terms of the interior design, commerce and music, to create a showcase. Defibs advertises three conceptual events while keeping the project’s core brand identity, through an array of processes and experimentation, to challenge the way things are typically done within the event industry.
