As a child, my younger brother and I spent countless hours creating fantasy worlds in the forest. Trees and all the magic they hold is something I have always been very passionate about.

The work for my final studio project is an exploration of magical feelings experienced as a child in the forest, from looking for colourful mushrooms that reminded me of tiny fairies, collecting insects, and the quiet noise of the wind blowing through the trees, to the scale of how small I felt within the forest. The forest is a place where even now as an adult, I can escape and free my inner child to a world of exploration and imagination.

This topic is very personal to me as it holds so many beautiful memories while giving me a feeling of peace and safety. I encourage you to take a closer look at the hidden magic around us.
